Target pests & mode of action

Garlic decoction works primarily as a repellent through its volatile sulphur compounds. It deters aphids, whiteflies, spider mites, flea beetles and some caterpillars. It also creates conditions unfavourable for fungal diseases: powdery mildew, downy mildew, damping off and peach leaf curl. Its action is mainly preventive: it stops pests from settling and limits the spread of pathogenic fungi. It also stimulates plant growth.

How to use

Spray on both sides of leaves, preferably in the evening or in overcast conditions. Apply every 3 to 4 days as a curative treatment, or every 7 to 10 days for prevention. Reapply after rain. Avoid spraying in full sunlight to limit the risk of leaf burn. Store in a cool place after opening.
