Anti-Aphid Rapeseed Oil – 500 ml

This organic rapeseed oil solution provides a formidable contact treatment against aphids and many other soft-bodied parasites. Unlike repellents, rapeseed oil works mechanically by coating insects in an oily film that deprives them of oxygen, eliminating them by suffocation at all stages of their development.

Target pests & mode of action

Rapeseed oil works on contact by forming an impermeable film around parasites, blocking gas exchange and causing death by suffocation. This mechanical mode of action is effective against a very broad spectrum of soft-bodied pests: aphids, scale insects, whiteflies, mites, plant bugs and thrips. A major advantage is that the oil also reaches eggs and larvae, interrupting the parasite reproductive cycle.

How to use

Spray evenly on affected parts of plants, ensuring good coverage of both sides of leaves. Apply preferably early morning or late afternoon, in dry, windless conditions. Reapply after 7 to 10 days if necessary, or after rain. Avoid application in full sunlight or high heat (> 30°C).
