Equipped with 5 adjustable nozzles and a Bluetooth programmer controlled via the MySolem app, it runs fully automated for hands-free climate management. Role in the system

In summer, the temperature inside the greenhouse can exceed 40°C – a critical threshold that causes heat stress, halts growth, triggers flower drop and accelerates tank water evaporation. The misting system creates a cloud of micro-droplets that, as they evaporate, absorb heat from the air and lower the temperature by several degrees. At the same time, it increases humidity levels, reducing plant transpiration and helping crops cope better with heat peaks. Misting also helps limit the spread of spider mites and other pests that thrive in hot, dry conditions.

MySolem app

The Bluetooth programmer connects to the MySolem app (available on iOS and Android) for full control from your smartphone:

• Create up to 8 misting programmes per day
• Set the duration and frequency of each cycle
• Adjust schedules based on weather and temperature
• Activate or deactivate misting remotely

Once programmed, the system runs autonomously – check and adjust settings from the app without needing to visit the greenhouse.

Installation

Mount the 5 nozzles along the greenhouse structure, evenly spaced for uniform coverage. Connect the system to a water supply with a minimum pressure of 5 bar. Plug in the Bluetooth programmer and configure your misting cycles via the MySolem app. Angle the nozzles so that the mist diffuses into the ambient air without directly wetting the leaves, to avoid the risk of fungal diseases. For complete summer protection, combine with the upper shade cloth, lateral shade cloth and removable mosquito screens.
