Role in the system

The pump filter gaskets ensure watertight connections between your tank pump and the filtration circuit. These are among the most stressed seals in your greenhouse: they are permanently submerged, subject to constant water pressure and exposed to temperature fluctuations between summer and winter. Over time, the gaskets can crack, harden or deform, causing slow leaks that are often hard to detect until the water level drops noticeably. A failing gasket can also allow unfiltered water to bypass the filter, leading to nozzle blockages in your growing towers.
