Micro-nutrients are trace elements essential to plant growth, even in very small quantities. This supplement provides all the trace elements needed by your crops in aquaponics and bioponics: boron, manganese, zinc, copper, molybdenum and other minerals that fish do not supply in sufficient amounts.

Role in the system

Each trace element plays a specific role: boron supports flowering and fruiting, manganese aids photosynthesis, zinc contributes to growth hormone synthesis, and copper enhances disease resistance. A trace element deficiency often shows as diffuse symptoms: slowed growth, leaf deformities or poor fruit set.

How to use

Dissolve the powder in a bucket of warm water with other supplements before adding to the growing system. Add approximately a quarter of the sachet (25 g) every 4 weeks from March to October, and every 2 months from October to March. A 100 g sachet covers approximately 6 months for a standard Myfood system.
