Dissolved oxygen is a vital parameter: fish need it to breathe, nitrifying bacteria to function, and plant roots to absorb nutrients. In summer, as temperatures rise, the water's ability to retain oxygen drops significantly. Heatwaves, storms and air pump failures can all cause dangerous oxygen drops. How to use

Follow the dosing instructions on the packaging. Pour the recommended dose directly into the tank, preferably near the air pump or water return to aid diffusion. Use preventively during heatwaves, or as an emergency treatment at the first signs of suffocation (fish at the surface, mouths open).
