Role in the system

pH is the most critical parameter in your system: it governs nutrient uptake by plants, nitrifying bacteria activity and fish welfare. The ideal range is between 6.0 and 7.0. Above this, nutrients become less available and plants show deficiency symptoms even if all supplements are present. pH Down brings and stabilises the pH within this optimal range.

How to use

In a Myfood greenhouse: add 30 to 50 ml per day until the target pH is reached (6.0 to 7.0). Check pH before and after each addition with test strips. In an Aerospring garden: add 10 ml every two hours, monitoring gradually. Adjustments are rarely needed once the pH is stabilised.
