This root activator is a concentrate of beneficial micro-organisms – mycorrhizal fungi and bacteria – that promotes the development of a powerful, healthy root system. Used from sowing and throughout growth, it improves nutrient absorption and strengthens the vigour of your plants in your Myfood greenhouse.

Product details

  • 40 g sachet of concentrated powder
  • Blend of mycorrhizal fungi and beneficial bacteria
  • Suitable for seedlings and ongoing growth
  • Compatible with aquaponics, bioponics and traditional growing

Role in the system

The micro-organisms in this activator colonise the root zone and form a symbiosis with the plants. They extend the root network, increasing the absorption surface for water and nutrients. The result: more vigorous plants, better stress resistance and more abundant harvests. Particularly recommended when transplanting into vertical growing towers or permaculture raised beds.

Benefits

  • Living micro-organisms: fungi and bacteria beneficial to the rhizosphere
  • Improved absorption: increases nutrient uptake capacity
  • Increased resistance: strengthens plants against water and heat stress
  • Versatile: for seedlings, transplanting and ongoing growth
  • Economical dosing: one 40 g sachet lasts for many applications

How to use

For seedlings: sprinkle a small amount of powder at the bottom of the planting hole or directly on the seedling plugs before placing the seeds.

For ongoing growth: dilute in irrigation water and apply at the base of plants once a month during the growing season.
