Spirulina Nutritional Salts – 8 kg

These nutritional salts are specially formulated for feeding spirulina grown in the Myfood module. They provide all the essential minerals for this micro-alga's growth: nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, iron and trace elements. The 8 kg pack provides several months of growing autonomy.

Dosage

At startup: dissolve 120 g of nutritional salts + 50 g of fine table salt in the tank water. To double the water volume: 12 g of salts + 5 g of salt per litre added. After each harvest: add 1 g of salts per gram of fresh spirulina harvested. Check pH regularly (ideal: 9-11).

Tips

Use warm water to aid dissolution. Do not add salts if the level drops through evaporation, only water evaporates, not minerals. Simply top up the level with drinking water.
