Thanks to the side-opening panels on each pot, harvesting is effortless – no need to dig up the entire plant. Delivered with everything you need to start immediately: pots, substrate, drainage and pre-sprouted tubers.

Why grow your own tubers?
Potatoes cannot be grown in vertical growing towers – they need depth and loose substrate to develop their tubers. This kit fills that gap with a dedicated, compact and self-contained system. The vermicompost-enriched soil provides all the nutrients needed without additional supplementation. In aquaponics, the pots can be placed near the tanks to use nitrogen-rich water for watering – a circular approach that boosts yields.

How to use
Place a layer of clay pebbles at the bottom of each pot to ensure drainage. Fill with the vermicompost-enriched horticultural soil. Plant 2 pre-sprouted tubers per pot, sprouts facing up, approximately 10 cm deep. Water regularly, keeping the soil moist but not waterlogged – the saucers collect excess water. Place the pots in a sunny spot and rotate them regularly for even growth. As the stems grow, add substrate to earth up the plants. Harvest when the foliage begins to wilt – simply open the side panels to access the tubers.
