Fine vermiculite - 3L

A natural laminar mineral from the mica family, exfoliated by heating to 900 °C. In gardening, vermiculite protects your seedlings, promotes seed germination and root development.

Product details

• Fine grain size: 0.5 mm < 2.8 mm
• Appearance: brown or golden granules depending on origin
• Properties: insoluble in water and organic solvents; insulating power
• Composition: SiO₂ (38-46%), Al₂O₃ (10-16%), MgO (16-35%), Fe₂O₃ (5-13%), other.
• Sterile and inert: it does not rot or degrade

How to use

For sowing: sow the seeds in the plugs of your incubator, then sprinkle a thin layer (about 2 mm) of vermiculite over the surface.

The 3L size is enough to cover up to 8 trays of 80 clumps.

Store in a dry place.
